Industrial Maintenance Mechanic

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on production and facility equipment
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical equipment failures to minimize downtime
• Diagnose root causes of equipment breakdowns and implement corrective actions
• Inspect, maintain, and service pumps, gearboxes, valves, conveyors, and related equipment
• Complete maintenance work orders and documentation using CMMS systems
• Assist with electrical troubleshooting, minor electrical repairs, and pipefitting projects
• Maintain HVAC, lighting, water, and sewer facility systems

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a mechanic or technician in a manufacturing or distribution environment
• Hands-on experience with industrial gearboxes and pumps
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills
• Familiarity with CMMS and preventative maintenance programs
• Ability to work the night shift schedule (6:00 PM - 6:30 AM, 2-2-3 rotating schedule)

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment
• Industrial, electrical, or welding certifications/licenses
• Experience applying electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic concepts
• Experience troubleshooting or programming PLCs
• Knowledge of high-voltage electrical systems
• Experience with liquid transfer systems, diaphragm pumps, and conveyors
