About the role

Responsibilities

  • Provide skilled multi-craft maintenance support for manufacturing equipment, plant utilities, and facilities during the night shift
  • Perform repairs, adjustments, setups, and rebuilds on fillers, cappers, sealers, labelers, and packaging equipment
  • Execute preventive maintenance (PM), inspections, and calibrations on fillers and ancillary equipment
  • Utilize hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment including lathes, mills, and various welding methods (TIG, MIG, arc)
  • Troubleshoot plant utilities including hydraulics, pneumatics, steam, and electrical systems
  • Maintain all assigned hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment to ensure operational readiness

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED and a two-year mechanical/electrical technical degree (or equivalent experience)
  • Proven experience in mechanical and electrical repair of high-speed filling and packaging equipment
  • Experience troubleshooting plant utilities, welding, machining, and repairing gearboxes or pumps
  • Proficiency in wiring drives, PLCs, hydraulics, and pneumatics
  • Ability to read and interpret technical schematics and blueprints

Preferred Qualifications

  • Background in calibrations and certifications of critical precision and sensitive equipment
  • Prior experience working in a liquid manufacturing or packaging facility
