Industrial Licences Manager - RAQA

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage regulatory compliance across a diverse portfolio including industrial chemicals, cosmetics, electrical safety, and radiocommunications in Australia and New Zealand.
• Oversee industrial chemicals assessment and reporting, cosmetics and sunscreen compliance, and electrical/radiocommunications approvals.
• Manage battery, hazardous, and dangerous goods SDS, as well as import/export permits.
• Handle niche regulatory areas including radiation, ozone, and laser safety licences.
• Collaborate across functions and engage with regulators to ensure robust, future-focused compliance processes.
• Lead and develop a small team, fostering accountability and high performance to meet tight deadlines.

Requirements

• 8+ years of ANZ regulatory compliance experience across various technical disciplines.
• Proven expertise in industrial chemicals and cosmetics assessment and reporting (e.g., AICIS and/or HSNO).
• Strong technical knowledge of electrical safety and radiocommunications standards and compliance.
• Experience managing import/export permits and applying hazardous/dangerous goods requirements.
• Demonstrated people leadership capability with experience developing small teams.
• Strong problem-solving skills, business acumen, and the ability to perform under pressure.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication, and organizational skills.
