Industrial Hygienist

Responsibilities

• Conduct field work including exposure assessments, industrial hygiene monitoring, and indoor air quality investigations.
• Collect, review, and summarize exposure assessment and monitoring data to ensure legal compliance and identify health stressors.
• Prepare formal reports for management regarding significant findings and recommended corrective actions.
• Develop and deliver training materials on industrial hygiene methods to HES Professionals, employees, and contractors.
• Serve as a Subject Matter Expert in areas such as Chemical, Physical, and Biological Agent Exposure Control, Radiation Safety, and Respiratory Protection.
• Prepare site policies and procedures to ensure consistency and compliance with applicable regulations and industry standards.
• Provide field safety support for specific operational areas within the refinery.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Hygiene, safety, engineering, or a related science with at least 2 years of related experience, OR a high school diploma/GED with 5 years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to obtain a TWIC Card.
• Ability to wear appropriate PPE (including respiratory protection) and perform physical field tasks, such as climbing.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the US without the need for future VISA sponsorship.
