Industrial Hygienist

Responsibilities

• Conduct qualitative exposure assessments, including characterization and development of sampling plans
• Plan and conduct industrial hygiene sampling surveys for chemical, physical, and biological hazards
• Interpret exposure monitoring results and develop control recommendations
• Author detailed technical reports with sampling and evaluation data
• Investigate potential health effects associated with chemical agents
• Apply statistical techniques to analyze exposure trends and outcomes
• Assess compliance with state and federal health-based standards
• Develop and present industrial hygiene training programs at client sites
• Support indoor environmental quality investigations

Requirements

• BS in Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Science, or related field
• 6+ years of experience in industrial hygiene consulting or program management
• OSHA experience required
• Previous consulting experience required
• Strong technical writing and communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
• Ability to mentor and train staff

Preferred Qualifications

• CIH certification or eligibility
• MS, MSPH, or MPH degree
