Industrial Fire-Process Safety Engineer

Responsibilities

• Conduct Risk Assessments to identify potential fire and safety hazards
• Develop and implement safety protocols and procedures to mitigate risks
• Collaborate with engineers and surveyors on high-stakes projects
• Perform regular safety audits and inspections
• Provide technical assistance and advice regarding fire safety systems
• Stay updated on industry regulations and best practices
• Participate in training and research initiatives to improve safety technologies

Requirements

• Degree in Fire Protection Engineering, Safety Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field
• 3-5 years of experience in fire safety or process safety management
• Proficiency in risk assessment methodologies and safety management systems
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and collaborative abilities

Preferred Qualifications

• Certified Fire Protection Specialist (CFPS) certification
• Experience within an industrial setting
