Industrial Engineering Technologist

Responsibilities

• Develop, improve, and evaluate production processes to support the production team
• Establish labor costs and standards through time studies and data analysis
• Recommend methods for improving operator efficiency and reducing waste
• Provide IE packages including style operations breakdown, machine requirements, and line balancing analysis
• Monitor line efficiencies and work with the production team to meet KPIs
• Maintain accurate engineering and production data files
• Participate in Kaizen events and continuous improvement initiatives
• Collaborate with other plants to drive process standardization
• Mentor production staff and assist in training supervisors and operators

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering
• At least 1 year of experience as an Industrial Engineer in a manufacturing environment
• Hands-on experience applying Lean Manufacturing principles
• Proficiency with MS Office, Excel, CAD, and ERP software
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to work onsite in a manufacturing environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in apparel manufacturing
• Experience working within a unionized environment
