Industrial Engineering Technician

Responsibilities

• Identify improvement opportunities across various business sectors
• Perform production preparation work, including processing engineering notes (EN)
• Analyze engineering notes to assign stations and operations to parts in coordination with industrial engineers
• Assign operations to work cycles by establishing standard times and operation sequences
• Generate and verify balancing sheets according to established procedures
• Prepare for and participate in production clinics
• Analyze production issues and generate solutions related to balancing, sequencing, and health and safety (SST)
• Participate in health and safety projects and conduct time studies
• Design and arrange workstations
• Define part delivery addresses according to established modes
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the company

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field
• 3 to 5 years of experience in a purchasing role
• Fluency in both French and English (written and verbal)
• Experience working with 3PL (Third-Party Logistics)
• Strong interpersonal skills and professional presentation
