Industrial Engineer

Responsibilities

• Apply industrial engineering concepts and techniques to products, processes, and services to meet program requirements
• Support the development of plant layouts, equipment layouts, capacity plans, and workflow sequencing
• Conduct workflow design and analysis to optimize production systems and asset utilization
• Develop models, databases, and spreadsheets to analyze data and provide metrics for leadership consultation
• Implement lean methodologies, 5S improvement plans, and root cause analysis to improve quality and efficiency
• Document work instructions and standardize work practices to ensure operational consistency
• Support execution planning through project management, scheduling, and shop load practices
• Follow all compliance requirements regarding industry safety, design standards, and ergonomic guidelines

Requirements

• US Citizenship required and the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance
• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Data Science, or Computer Science
• Experience in Industrial Engineering or a similar role such as Production or Manufacturing Engineering

Preferred Qualifications

• Degree specifically in Industrial Engineering
• 2 or more years of related work experience
• Experience in test laboratory operations
• Experience with project management
• An active U.S. Secret Security Clearance
