Industrial Engineer

Responsibilities

• Apply industrial engineering concepts and techniques to optimize products, processes, and services
• Support the development of plant layouts, equipment capacity plans, and workflow sequencing
• Design, maintain, and optimize production systems by integrating facilities, equipment, and personnel
• Conduct workflow design and analysis to improve schedule performance and asset utilization
• Develop models, databases, and spreadsheets to provide data-driven metrics for leadership
• Document work instructions and standardize work practices to ensure quality and safety
• Lead metrics and improvement plans related to productivity and efficiency, including Lean+ and 5S initiatives
• Support execution planning through project management, scheduling, and shop load practices

Requirements

• Ability to obtain a US Security Clearance (US Citizenship required)
• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Data Science, or Computer Science
• 5 or more years of experience in Industrial Engineering or a similar role (e.g., Production or Manufacturing Engineering)

Preferred Qualifications

• 7 or more years of related work experience
• Degree specifically in Industrial Engineering
• Experience in test laboratory operations
• Experience with project management
• An active U.S. Secret Security Clearance
