Industrial Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, maintain, and optimize production systems by integrating design, supply base, facilities, equipment, and personnel.
• Conduct workflow design and analysis to enhance operational efficiency and improve quality.
• Develop models, databases, and spreadsheets to analyze data and provide metrics for leadership.
• Research and implement processes to enhance schedule performance, reduce costs, and improve quality.
• Prepare operations plans, including budgeting, capacity analysis, and production change management.
• Support execution planning through project management, planning, scheduling, and shop load practices.
• Ensure compliance with industry safety standards and ergonomic guidelines.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.
• 2+ years of work-related experience with a Bachelor's Degree (or an equivalent combination of experience and technical education).
• US Citizenship is required.
• Ability to obtain a US Security Clearance (interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance post-start).

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of work-related experience (for Level 3 roles).
• Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering or a similar field of study.
• Experience supporting stabilization and improvement efforts in a manufacturing setting.
• Experience supporting defense and/or aerospace customers.
• Experience working closely with manufacturing assembly line technicians.
