Industrial Engineer

Responsibilities

• Support manufacturing process optimization and MES adoption on the production floor
• Assist with configuration, testing, and deployment of MES solutions
• Integrate MES with existing manufacturing processes for accurate data capture
• Generate and maintain process documentation, work instructions, and MES user guides
• Provide day-to-day MES user support, troubleshooting, and training
• Analyze production and MES data to identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies
• Apply industrial engineering methods like time studies and value stream mapping
• Participate in root-cause analysis and implement corrective actions
• Support continuous improvement initiatives, including lean manufacturing and kaizen events
• Assist in evaluating shop floor automation and digital transformation projects

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of industrial engineering principles
• Experience supporting MES implementation or user support in manufacturing
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing and process mapping
• Experience generating manufacturing documentation and work instructions
• Proficiency in data analysis using Excel or similar tools
• Experience with data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau
• Familiarity with 3D CAD or process simulation tools
• Proficiency in MS Office

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with specific MES platforms
• Experience with ERP/MES integration and shop floor automation
• Lean Six Sigma certification
• Experience in regulated manufacturing environments (aerospace, automotive, or medical)
• Proficiency in CATIA V5 or SOLIDWORKS
