About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage the full lifecycle of industrial engineering projects for battery pack production lines, including planning, design, implementation, and final acceptance.
- Optimize production line layouts and spatial configurations using CAD and logistics simulation to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Establish and optimize production logistics systems, monitoring key indicators such as line-side logistics and cost efficiency.
- Conduct time studies and formulate standard operating procedures (SOP) to establish a comprehensive time database.
- Implement lean production tools such as VSM, 5S, SMED, and TPM to eliminate waste and improve OEE.
- Monitor KPIs related to production capacity, labor hours, and energy consumption to drive continuous improvement.
- Ensure all production processes comply with high-voltage safety, fire safety, and environmental regulations.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with production, quality, procurement, and EHS departments to resolve technical issues.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Automation, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of industrial engineering experience specifically within new energy battery pack production lines.
- Proficiency in CAD and Visio for layout design and process mapping.
- Strong knowledge of lean production tools (VSM, 5S, SMED, TPM).
- Proficiency in English for technical documentation, reporting, and professional meetings.
- Strong project management, problem-solving, and cross-departmental coordination skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Lean production certifications such as Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt.
- Experience working in large-scale new energy vehicle companies or leading battery enterprises.
- Proven track record in battery pack production line automation or digital transformation projects.
