Industrial Engineer

Responsibilities

• Define, document, and optimize vibrofinishing, polishing, and PVD preparation processes.
• Lead the industrialization of products and processes from prototype to series production.
• Establish and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and routing definitions.
• Analyze cycle times, yield, scrap, and rework to drive continuous improvement via Lean, Kaizen, or Six Sigma.
• Identify production bottlenecks and implement corrective actions to improve productivity and quality.
• Collaborate with PVD engineers on process capability, stability, and surface preparation quality.
• Act as a technical interface between Production, Quality, R&D, Purchasing, and Maintenance.
• Support the qualification of new equipment, tools, consumables, and suppliers.

Requirements

• Degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or Materials Engineering.
• Proven experience in production manufacturing and operations environments.
• Hands-on experience with vibrofinishing and polishing processes (manual or automated).
• Experience in industrialization and process validation.
• Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement tools.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Proficiency in English (working level).
• Proficiency with standard industrial IT tools such as ERP, MES, and Excel.

Preferred Qualifications

• Solid experience in PVD manufacturing, particularly in precision, luxury, medical, or automotive industries.
• Knowledge of French and/or Italian.
