About the role
Responsibilities
- Drive the development and deployment of comprehensive labor management programs, including workforce planning and productivity measurement.
- Design, develop, and implement cutting-edge automation solutions within distribution centers to enhance efficiency and throughput.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on process optimization, cost reduction, and efficiency gains.
- Gather and analyze key performance metrics to provide actionable insights for decision-making.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Operations, IT, and Supply Chain to integrate engineering solutions.
- Manage project finances, including expenditure estimation, purchasing, and budget tracking.
- Manage multiple simultaneous projects and provide guidance to interns and new hires.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in industrial/manufacturing engineering, operations research, or statistics.
- Three years of experience in labor management program engineering or labor standards within a distribution/fulfillment environment.
- Three years of experience using AutoCAD or similar CAD tools.
- Three years of experience applying Lean Six Sigma methodology.
- Three years of experience with SQL.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with distribution automation technologies.
- Proficiency in analytics, simulation, and advanced project management tools.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze complex systems and develop innovative engineering solutions.
- Strong leadership and communication skills with a track record of managing cross-functional projects.
