Industrial Engineer, Labor Management & Distribution Science

Responsibilities

• Drive the development and deployment of comprehensive labor management programs, including workforce planning and productivity measurement.
• Design, develop, and implement cutting-edge automation solutions within distribution centers to enhance efficiency and throughput.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on process optimization, cost reduction, and efficiency gains.
• Gather and analyze key performance metrics to provide actionable insights for decision-making.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Operations, IT, and Supply Chain to integrate engineering solutions.
• Manage project finances, including expenditure estimation, purchasing, and budget tracking.
• Manage multiple simultaneous projects and provide guidance to interns and new hires.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in industrial/manufacturing engineering, operations research, or statistics.
• Three years of experience in labor management program engineering or labor standards within a distribution/fulfillment environment.
• Three years of experience using AutoCAD or similar CAD tools.
• Three years of experience applying Lean Six Sigma methodology.
• Three years of experience with SQL.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with distribution automation technologies.
• Proficiency in analytics, simulation, and advanced project management tools.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze complex systems and develop innovative engineering solutions.
• Strong leadership and communication skills with a track record of managing cross-functional projects.
