About the role
Responsibilities
- Improve manufacturing capacity through equipment loss analysis, line balance, and fixed loss improvements
- Plan tooling and auxiliary facilities based on future capacity requirements
- Monitor coating speeds and implement improvements to achieve planned production targets
- Analyze equipment OEE to identify and execute capacity improvement opportunities
- Lead Gemba walks, workshops, and brainstorming sessions to enhance equipment efficiency and reduce costs
- Support new line construction, including equipment arrival, installation, and commissioning oversight
- Coordinate on-site resources for 5S management, production meetings, and daily operational improvements
- Work flexible shifts and hours, including weekends as needed, to support facility launch
Requirements
- 1-3 years of relevant professional engineering experience
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field
- Proficiency in industrial engineering principles and ergonomics
- Strong knowledge of Lean production methodologies and project management
- Proficiency in CAD, Microsoft Excel, and PowerPoint
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or Automation Engineering
- Experience with MODAPTS
- Bilingual proficiency in Mandarin Chinese
- Proactive ownership mindset and strong team collaboration skills
