Industrial Engineer

Responsibilities

• Increase productivity through the management of workers, business organization methods, and technology to solve production problems.
• Provide process time estimations to the quote team and simulate manufacturing workflows using REFA, MOST, or WITNESS.
• Coordinate process planning during NPI, including takt, cycle time, and direct labor requirements.
• Examine facility layouts, staff utilization, and operational data to define efficient use of workers and equipment.
• Recommend methods for improving worker efficiency and reducing waste through workflow reorganization or equipment upgrades.
• Manage initiatives to increase throughput and reduce costs via Lean, Automation, and Six Sigma projects.
• Develop management control systems to aid in financial planning, cost reviews, and production planning.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (BA or BS) or equivalent work experience.
• 5 years of experience in a similar industrial engineering position.
• Fluent English communication skills.
• Background in electronics manufacturing.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Project.
• Experience with FlexSim Plus.
• Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles, including waste elimination and continuous flow.
• Expertise in production and facilities management, including capacity analysis and line balancing.
