About the role
Responsibilities
- Act as a change agent to promote performance awareness and the use of structured process improvement tools.
- Translate operational data into actionable insights to inform strategic decisions and investment priorities.
- Lead the assessment and realization of productivity and operational improvement opportunities across the Output Solutions division.
- Support end-to-end process development from early definition through implementation and sustainment.
- Design and implement processes, procedures, tooling, and automation to solve complex problems.
- Facilitate regular reviews of quality and process performance metrics to drive measurable outcomes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent military experience).
- 6+ years of experience in Industrial Engineering, Process Engineering, or quality/process improvement roles.
- 6+ years of experience using data analysis tools such as Excel, Minitab, SQL, or Python.
- Strong communication and presentation skills to influence both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced production environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Transactional Print, Direct Mail, or Secure Card production environments.
- Working knowledge of Lean principles (Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen, Six Sigma, etc.).
- Understanding of ERP or job management systems used in high-volume production.
- Exposure to material handling automation and production equipment.
- Experience with simulation software such as Arena or FlexSim.
- Lean and/or Six Sigma Green/Black Belt certification.
