Industrial Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop, update, and optimize facility layouts to support efficient material flow and scalable production capacity
• Conduct time studies, workflow analysis, and capacity modeling to identify bottlenecks
• Analyze production data, machine performance, and labor utilization to support capital expenditure business cases
• Develop ROI models and payback analyses for new equipment or automation initiatives
• Define and document machine processing steps, including standard work instructions and operator workflows
• Support PFMEA, control plan development, and risk assessments
• Serve as a liaison between engineering, vendors, and production teams during equipment installation and commissioning
• Coordinate operator training and support ramp-up activities

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
• 2–5+ years of experience in manufacturing, industrial engineering, or automation-related roles
• Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, Power BI, or SQL
• Experience with facility layout tools like AutoCAD or SolidWorks
• Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma principles, time studies, and standard work development
• Ability to work hands-on on the production floor to validate processes

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting automation projects or machine integrations
• Knowledge of MES, SCADA, or machine data capture systems (e.g., Ignition)
• Exposure to PFMEA, control plans, and structured problem-solving methodologies
