Industrial Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead Kaizen events, Value Stream Mapping (VSM) workshops, and waste elimination projects
• Identify and eliminate the 8 wastes to improve throughput and reduce cycle time
• Implement and sustain 5S, visual management, and standard work practices
• Drive OEE improvement initiatives through data analysis
• Develop and maintain capacity models for production lines
• Plan and optimize factory floor layouts using simulation tools
• Conduct time studies and establish standard times for manufacturing operations
• Build and maintain standard cost models for labor and overhead
• Analyze production data from MES and ERP systems to support decision-making
• Build dashboards in Power BI, Tableau, or Excel to track production KPIs

Requirements

• 3+ years of industrial engineering experience in high-volume manufacturing
• Experience in consumer electronics or battery manufacturing
• Proficiency in lean/Kaizen, capacity planning, time study, or data analytics
• Hands-on experience with VSM, Kaizen workshops, and 5S implementation
• Strong data analysis skills using Excel, Python, or SQL
• Ability to build bottom-up cost models in Excel
• Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, or Systems Engineering
• Strong cross-functional communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Lean certification or Six Sigma Green/Black Belt
• Experience with MES/ERP data extraction and visualization tools
• Proficiency in AutoCAD or plant layout software
