Industrial Engineer - Composite

Responsibilities

• Advise and support the site to ensure composite processes conform to Airbus regulations and standards
• Support improvement projects to protect the A350 production ramp-up and propose new initiatives
• Propose ideas to improve lead time and cost efficiency for composite processes
• Write specifications for composite manufacturing machines and environments
• Act as the focal point and interface between the Kinston site and the global Airbus composite community
• Secure the exchange of lessons learned and validated processes with other Airbus plants

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering
• 5 years of experience with Airbus composite manufacturing, processes, and regulations
• Strong knowledge of composite materials and manufacturing processes
• Proven experience with Manufacturing Engineering (ME) processes, preferably within the aviation industry
• Experience working in a transnational or international environment
• Proficiency in a Google working environment
• Fluency in English (influencing level)
• Ability to work 100% on-site in Kinston, NC
