Industrial Engineer

Responsibilities

• Provide industrial engineering support for the production, build, and testing of avionics electronics equipment
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives and projects using the CORE methodology
• Add and maintain automated equipment within the manufacturing environment
• Identify cost drivers and propose alternative solutions for cost reductions
• Perform cost analysis, trade-offs, and engineering economics to understand manufacturing impacts
• Estimate costs and participate in the preparation of technical proposals and presentations
• Coordinate multiple projects while effectively balancing priorities and schedules

Requirements

• Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)
• Minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience
• Knowledge of principles and techniques used in electronics manufacturing
• Ability to diagnose technical problems and recommend effective solutions
• U.S. citizenship is required for this position

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in automation and manufacturing engineering
• Experience with factory transition activities
• Understanding of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement principles
• Knowledge of manufacturing cost optimization and forecasting methods
• Strong communication skills for collaborating across technical and management teams
