Industrial Engineer

Responsibilities

• Support the lean manufacture of avionics electronics equipment
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives and projects using the CORE methodology
• Add and maintain automated equipment
• Provide industrial engineering support for production build and testing processes
• Identify cost drivers and propose alternative solutions for cost reductions
• Perform cost analysis, trade-offs, and engineering economics evaluations
• Coordinate multiple projects while balancing priorities and schedules
• Communicate technical findings and proposals to management and technical personnel

Requirements

• Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)
• Less than 2 years of prior relevant experience
• U.S. citizenship is required

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in automation and manufacturing engineering
• Experience with factory transition activities
• Understanding of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement principles
• Knowledge of manufacturing cost optimization and forecasting methods
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
