About the role
Responsibilities
- Analyze manufacturing processes, material flow, and labor utilization to improve throughput and reduce waste
- Develop and maintain time studies, standard work, and labor models to support staffing and productivity
- Support New Product Introduction (NPI) by developing process plans, capacity models, and workflow changes
- Collaborate with Advanced Engineering to integrate new equipment, automation, and technology
- Evaluate process and equipment capabilities to identify constraints and recommend performance solutions
- Lead Lean and Six Sigma initiatives, including Kaizen events and root-cause analysis
- Conduct cost analysis for capital projects and ensure compliance with EHS and ergonomic standards
- Maintain process maps, PFMEAs, capacity models, and workflow diagrams
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, or Mechanical Engineering
- 4+ years of industrial engineering experience in a manufacturing environment
- 2+ years of experience with CAD tools and data analysis software
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher certification
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience within HVAC, heavy equipment, or electromechanical assembly industries
- Familiarity with DOE (Design of Experiments), process capability tools, and advanced analytics
- Strong skills in time studies, line balancing, and workflow optimization
- Advanced proficiency in manufacturing simulation or advanced data modeling software
- Demonstrated leadership in high-impact Lean or Six Sigma projects
