Industrial Engineer

Responsibilities

• Analyze manufacturing processes, material flow, and labor utilization to improve throughput and reduce waste
• Develop and maintain time studies, standard work, and labor models to support staffing and productivity
• Support New Product Introduction (NPI) by developing process plans, capacity models, and workflow changes
• Collaborate with Advanced Engineering to integrate new equipment, automation, and technology
• Evaluate process and equipment capabilities to identify constraints and recommend performance solutions
• Lead Lean and Six Sigma initiatives, including Kaizen events and root-cause analysis
• Conduct cost analysis for capital projects and ensure compliance with EHS and ergonomic standards
• Maintain process maps, PFMEAs, capacity models, and workflow diagrams

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, or Mechanical Engineering
• 4+ years of industrial engineering experience in a manufacturing environment
• 2+ years of experience with CAD tools and data analysis software
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher certification

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience within HVAC, heavy equipment, or electromechanical assembly industries
• Familiarity with DOE (Design of Experiments), process capability tools, and advanced analytics
• Strong skills in time studies, line balancing, and workflow optimization
• Advanced proficiency in manufacturing simulation or advanced data modeling software
• Demonstrated leadership in high-impact Lean or Six Sigma projects
