Industrial Engineer

Responsibilities

• Apply industrial engineering principles to analyze and implement manufacturing processes and methods
• Support Tanker Programs (KC-46 and KC-135) in a maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) environment
• Partner with cross-functional teams including Quality, Supply Chain, Production Control, and Engineering
• Implement lean solutions to optimize production systems and recommend resource allocations
• Use mathematical modeling, simulation, and design of experiments to analyze systems
• Create and manage project schedules, identifying milestones and resource requirements
• Identify opportunities for improvement, implement solutions, and measure their impact

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, or Chemistry
• 3+ years of experience in production engineering and manufacturing process improvement
• 3+ years of experience in Lean Manufacturing
• 3+ years of experience with Statistical Process Modeling (e.g., simulation, operations research)
• 3+ years of experience interpreting technical engineering requirements
• 1+ years of experience leading development projects or operations teams
• U.S. Citizenship required to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Lean Manufacturing or Statistical Process Modeling
• 2+ years of experience working in a Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) environment
• 2+ years of experience partnering with key functions in an integrator or lead role
• Experience with Tableau, Tableau Server, or SQL
• Experience with Aurora or constraint-based scheduling software
