Industrial Engineer

Responsibilities

• Perform productivity measurements to design and report efficiency metrics for equipment, lines, and personnel on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis
• Identify production line inefficiencies and establish action plans for process improvement
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and optimize poultry processing line layouts
• Conduct cause and effect investigations regarding yield deviations to create management action plans
• Review headcount and resource allocation to increase overall productivity
• Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate process efficiency and product quality
• Develop and update standard operating procedures for poultry processing operations
• Train supervisors and management on industrial engineering techniques, statistics, and lean manufacturing
• Support Lean Six Sigma projects to ensure planned cost savings are achieved

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Chemical) or five years of related experience
• Strong mathematical reasoning skills, including probability, statistical inference, and geometry
• Proficiency in manufacturing, database, inventory, and spreadsheet software
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for technical reporting and presentations

Preferred Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification
