Industrial Engineer 1

Responsibilities

• Develop capacity models using mathematical modeling to predict short-term and long-term capital requirements for the wafer fab
• Plan and implement capital projects to support capacity and new technology requirements
• Analyze production data, performance metrics, and operational parameters to identify trends, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement
• Collaborate with cross-functional global teams, including production, maintenance, quality, and supply chain
• Identify opportunities for process improvement to enhance OEE, reduce costs, and increase throughput
• Promote lean manufacturing principles and drive waste reduction initiatives across the fab
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of manufacturing processes, SOPs, and work instructions

Requirements

• BS in Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, Supply Chain Engineering, or a relevant field
• Thorough knowledge of Industrial Engineering concepts, practices, and principles
• Excellent project management, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication skills (verbal, interpersonal, and written)
• Ability to use software models to solve complex problems
• Ability to work as a team player and perform well under pressure

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the semiconductor industry
• Proficiency in Python
