About the role
Responsibilities
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain West Plant catalyst and industrial equipment through preventive and proactive maintenance
- Troubleshoot equipment failures and line stoppages using root-cause analysis
- Perform electrical and mechanical repairs, including wiring, PLCs, motors, pumps, heating elements, instruments, and gauges
- Remove, replace, rewire, and reassemble equipment components as needed
- Ensure all maintenance work meets safety, quality, cost, and efficiency standards
- Use CMMS/SAP systems to manage work orders and spare parts inventory
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers and operators, to support continuous plant operations
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED plus trade school or technical college education
- 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience (food or chemical manufacturing experience preferred)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Outlook, SAP, or similar maintenance software
- Knowledge of industrial maintenance practices, pneumatic systems, and troubleshooting techniques
- Ability to safely diagnose and repair equipment using manuals, schematics, and technical resources
- Ability to maintain certifications for Confined Space Entry, Lockout/Tagout, Hot Work, and Forklift operations
