Industrial Electrician

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced electrical and electronic maintenance, inspections, diagnosis, and repairs on industrial equipment.
• Carry out repairs and improvements on 480V and below panels and protection systems.
• Calibrate and perform adjustments in electronic instruments and industrial PLCs (Allen Bradley or Siemens).
• Interpret electrical drawings to troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues.
• Log failure characteristics to assist in determining root causes.
• Participate in preventive maintenance activities and update maintenance systems with detailed reports.
• Verify the availability of spare parts and ensure tools and instruments meet required specifications.
• Operate forklifts or radio control overhead cranes when applicable.

Requirements

• 2 years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Ability to work rotating shifts (Day, Night, and Overnight).
• Proven ability to interpret electrical drawings.
• Experience working with 480V panels.
• Skills in PLC calibration and industrial electronic instrument adjustment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience working in a steel mill environment.
• Experience in electrical instrumentation.
