Industrial Electrician

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical equipment, control systems, motors, drives, PLCs, and HMIs
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on electrical systems and production equipment
• Program, troubleshoot, and modify PLCs to ensure reliable equipment operation
• Identify and resolve electrical issues impacting safety, quality, and productivity
• Assist with the installation, startup, and commissioning of new equipment and system upgrades
• Interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation
• Maintain compliance with all safety policies, procedures, and electrical codes
• Communicate effectively with operations, maintenance, and engineering teams

Requirements

• 3–5 years of industrial electrical maintenance experience or equivalent military experience
• Experience troubleshooting and programming PLCs, HMIs, and industrial networks
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, solid-state controls, AC/DC motors, and variable frequency drives
• Proficiency in reading electrical schematics and technical drawings
• Working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC)
• Strong mechanical aptitude and systematic troubleshooting skills
• Ability to safely use lifts, ladders, and maintenance tools; capable of lifting up to 50 lbs

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Allen-Bradley and Siemens PLC platforms
