Industrial Electrician

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot problems to perform repairs on industrial automotive equipment
• Maintain safety as an overriding priority in all tasks
• Coach and mentor fellow employees within the team
• Work with 480-volt power distribution and 480-volt motor controls
• Utilize software to interface with Allen Bradley and Modicon controllers

Requirements

• Journeyman’s card or completion of a Department of Labor Certified Program
• Proven experience as an Industrial Electrician (6 years preferred)
• Strong knowledge of AC & DC theory and basic electronics
• Ability to read and understand industrial hard wire prints and PLC ladder logic prints
• Experience with Allen Bradley (PLC 2, 5’s, and SL500’s) and Modicon (984’s and Quantum) controllers
• Experience with GE Fanuc CNC controls and Fanuc digital servo systems

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Fanuc and ABB robots
• Experience working with HVAC systems and state certification to handle refrigerants
• Experience working with furnace controls and parameters (pyrometer type tasks)
• Proficiency with Proworks NXT, RS Logix, or Modsoft software
