Industrial Electrician

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair electrical and mechanical components, including pneumatics, drives, hydraulics, and conveyors
• Perform troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and on-the-spot machine repairs
• Utilize programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to diagnose and resolve equipment issues
• Conduct root cause analysis of production equipment failures by interpreting schematics and drawings
• Identify opportunities to improve plant efficiency and cost savings
• Maintain clear documentation and open communication with leads and supervisors regarding daily activities

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• Previous experience working in a food manufacturing plant
• Demonstrated knowledge of behavior-based safety systems
• Basic computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Ability to perform physical tasks including sitting, standing, walking, and repetitive motions
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 50lbs
• Availability to work an overnight shift (6 pm - 6 am) on a 2-2-3 12-hour schedule
