About the role
Responsibilities
- Design next-generation Digital Power products, including EV charging dispensers, energy storage enclosures, and inverter/converter housings
- Create product concepts, sketches, 3D models, renderings, and CMF (Color, Material, Finish) proposals
- Collaborate with mechanical, thermal, and electronics engineers to balance appearance, usability, and technical performance
- Address design constraints such as thermal management, airflow, HMI layout, cable routing, and serviceability
- Prepare design guidelines, surface treatment proposals, and supplier-ready documentation
- Support prototyping, design reviews, and supplier discussions to ensure production-ready solutions
Requirements
- Degree in industrial design, product design, mechanical design, or a related field
- 3+ years of professional experience in industrial or product design
- Proficiency in 3D modeling and rendering tools such as Rhino, Alias, SolidWorks, or Creo
- Strong portfolio demonstrating skills in sketching, 3D modeling, rendering, and CMF
- Solid understanding of manufacturability, materials, and surface treatments
- Experience with EV charging, BESS, power electronics, or automotive design is a plus
