Industrial Designer II

Responsibilities

• Support design across product categories including wearables, bands, accessories, charging systems, and packaging
• Execute the design process from early ideation and sketching through prototyping, refinement, and production
• Apply user-centered design principles regarding ergonomics, wearability, and user behavior to improve comfort and performance
• Create CAD models and physical prototypes to validate design concepts, fit, and usability
• Lead material and CMF (Color, Material, Finish) exploration to align with brand expression and durability requirements
• Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, hardware, apparel, and product marketing teams

Requirements

• 3–5 years of industrial design experience
• Strong portfolio demonstrating thoughtful design process and form development
• Proficiency in 2D and 3D design tools such as Illustrator, Photoshop, SolidWorks, or KeyShot
• Experience with prototyping methods and an understanding of manufacturing processes and constraints
• Familiarity with materials, CMF, and designing products intended to be worn on the body
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
• Commitment to leveraging AI tools to enhance day-to-day design workflows

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in consumer electronics, wearables, or softgoods
