Industrial Design Intern

Responsibilities

• Help design new products from initial idea through to production
• Develop design concepts using clear and compelling visual communication
• Prototype continuously, ranging from quick mockups to refined cosmetic models
• Test designs with users and translate feedback back into the design process
• Refine the hardware user experience, including unboxing and maintenance
• Create high-quality CAD to communicate design intent
• Collaborate with Product, UI Design, Engineering, and Manufacturing teams
• Assist with cosmetic specification and validation

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a university degree in Industrial Design (related design or engineering degrees considered)
• Fluency in aesthetic decision making and a strong eye for detail
• Ability to communicate ideas quickly and effectively through hand sketching
• Proficiency in 3D CAD, Keyshot, and Adobe Creative Cloud
• Experience with various prototyping methods
• Understanding of engineering and manufacturability constraints
