Industrial Design Fellow

Responsibilities

• Help design new products from initial idea through to production
• Develop design concepts with clear and compelling visual communication
• Prototype continuously, ranging from quick mockups to refined cosmetic models
• Test designs with users and translate results back into the design process
• Refine the hardware user experience, including unboxing and maintenance
• Create high-quality CAD to communicate design intent
• Collaborate with Product, UI Design, Engineering, and Manufacturing teams
• Assist with cosmetic specification and validation

Requirements

• Robust design portfolio reflecting relevant work or projects
• Completed degree in Industrial Design or a related design/engineering field
• Proficiency in 3D CAD, Keyshot, and Adobe Creative Cloud
• Strong prototyping skills using a variety of methods
• Ability to communicate ideas quickly and effectively through hand sketching
• Experience solving problems within engineering and manufacturability constraints
• Strong eye for detail and fluency in aesthetic decision making
