Industrial Cleaning/Waste Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage onsite hazardous and non-hazardous waste programs, including drum movements, bulking, and crushing
• Segregate, label, mark, and package waste materials in compliance with safety regulations
• Collect, transfer, and consolidate solid, liquid, and sludge materials
• Manage the movement of recyclable materials and conduct material grading for sale destinations
• Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and cranes
• Maintain compliance with EPA, OSHA, and DOT environmental and transportation regulations
• Identify best practices to reduce waste volumes and increase operational efficiencies
• Recommend and manage initiatives to improve service delivery and KPI management
• Document all work performed and conduct regular material audits

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required
• At least 6 years of progressive experience in industrial maintenance
• 3-5 years of experience managing hazardous and non-hazardous waste projects, industrial cleaning, and bulk waste handling
• 2 years of project management experience
• Required training: RCRA, TSCA, OSHA (HAZWOPER), and DOT
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs and work in various physical environments including inclement weather
