Industrial Automation Engineer

Responsibilities

• Define and lead activities to achieve project deliverables and manage provisional budgets
• Transfer technical data to development and plant teams while identifying risks
• Identify new technologies in Robotics, PLC, and Vision fields to drive breakthrough initiatives
• Lead technical standards definitions and industrialize innovative solutions
• Support operations with issues regarding Vision, PLC/HMI, and Robotic equipment
• Validate technical feasibility of Vision, PLC, and Robotics solutions
• Perform in-house programming tasks on PLC, HMI, Robots, and OT/IT devices
• Consolidate lessons learned into best practices and train teams on industrialized solutions

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with significant experience or Engineering Master's degree in Automation and Robotics
• 5+ years of experience as a Robotic or PLC specialist
• Advanced experience in robotics and automation
• Proficiency with SIEMENS PLC and FANUC ROBOT
• Strong project management and leadership skills
• Fluent English
• Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize tasks

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in the automotive sector
• Previous experience in an international context
