Industrial and Systems Engineering Technology - Part-Time (Adjunct) Faculty

Responsibilities

• Teach FlexFactor, a student-led, project-based STEM and Advanced Manufacturing curriculum to area high school and middle school students
• Plan and organize instruction to maximize student learning through problem identification, product design, and business modeling
• Prepare and provide syllabi for all assigned sections in accordance with department and divisional policies
• Employ appropriate teaching and learning strategies, utilizing modern instructional technology to meet diverse student needs
• Evaluate and return student work in a timely manner to promote learning
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and submit final grade rosters according to established deadlines

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in the content area
• Minimum of three years of working experience in the field or industry
• Demonstrated skills in using modern educational technology, including multimedia-based instruction
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work successfully in a culturally diverse community
• Must reside in or be able to perform work within Ohio, Indiana, or Kentucky

Preferred Qualifications

• Possession of a widely accepted credential, license, or certification in the field or industry
• Evidence of successful prior teaching experience
