About the role

Responsibilities

  • Develop and prioritize strategies to optimize cylinder asset profitability and operational efficiency
  • Set, implement, and maintain min/max inventory parameters across multiple stores and hubs
  • Approve orders in coordination with site supervisors for industrial, specialty, and medical gases
  • Use product seasonality and on-site needs analysis to maximize Service Level (OFR)
  • Act as a key decision-maker for production and logistics planning across satellites, depots, and distributors
  • Evaluate inventory levels and performance indicators to identify solutions for increasing cylinder rotation
  • Manage the asset return program and provide financial impact conclusions on fixed assets
  • Participate in special projects including acquisitions, depot openings/closings, and system conversions

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • 2-4 years of experience in an administrative, project coordination, or support role
  • Advanced Excel and Google Sheets skills (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP)
  • Proficiency in Salesforce, Power BI, and SAP
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong verbal/written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field
  • Direct experience working within a chemical plant, refinery, or heavy manufacturing facility
  • Familiarity with industrial safety protocols and procedures
  • Experience with Management of Change (MOC) processes and technical documentation (P&IDs, SOPs)
