Industrial Academy & Continuous Improvement Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead the development, construction, and deployment of the Industrial Academy curriculum.
• Build and manage a robust competency matrix focusing on core and emerging industrial competencies.
• Engage with the World Class Manufacturing (WCM) community to build a trainer network and catalyze expertise.
• Identify, capture, and assess knowledge gaps at global, regional, and site levels.
• Drive a culture of knowledge sharing and establish an Industrial Learning network within site operations.
• Evaluate and continuously improve the Industrial Academy as industrial procedures evolve.
• Manage and troubleshoot training tools and platforms, including Trainme.
• Facilitate cross-functional workshops and lead continuous improvement initiatives in 2iP.
• Coordinate the transfer of central team industrial and performance work packages to the Bangalore site.

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience or strong understanding of training development, knowledge management, and competency frameworks.
• Knowledge of manufacturing, process engineering, or industrial operations.
• Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and deliver results in a global environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certification in training or knowledge management (e.g., CIPD, ATD, or equivalent).
