Indirect Tax Specialist

Responsibilities

• Manage all tax advisory matters related to VAT, sales tax, GST, and other indirect taxes globally
• Define indirect tax requirements for existing and new products and support implementation in internal systems
• Research and monitor global indirect tax developments to ensure regulatory compliance
• Coordinate with external tax advisors and manage business stakeholders to deliver complex projects
• Support the tax team in daily operations, including data gathering and reconciliation of revenue and VAT/GST with financials
• Contribute to the long-term vision of the tax team and share technical expertise to support team growth

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Tax, Law, Accounting, Finance, or a related business field
• 3-5 years of indirect tax experience within a multinational environment (Big 4, top law firm, or major corporation)
• Solid technical knowledge of VAT/GST and experience across multiple jurisdictions (APAC, EU, or US preferred)
• Strong English verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex issues to senior leadership
• Experience with ERP systems, specifically Oracle, is a significant asset
• Proven ability to lead medium to high complexity projects from analysis through to implementation

Preferred Qualifications

• Graduate degree specifically in taxation
• Experience working within the e-commerce or travel industry
