Indirect Tax Analyst – Systems & Analytics Focus

Responsibilities

• Support the configuration, testing, and maintenance of indirect tax logic in SAP and ONESOURCE
• Monitor and validate indirect tax data flows across systems to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Analyze transactional data to identify anomalies, trends, or system issues affecting tax determination
• Collaborate with IT, Finance, and Tax teams to troubleshoot and resolve system-related tax issues
• Participate in ERP and tax engine upgrades, enhancements, and integration projects
• Maintain documentation of tax system configurations, data flows, and process improvements
• Support the development of dashboards or reports to monitor indirect tax performance and data quality

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Tax Technology, or a related field
• 3-5 years of experience in indirect tax (VAT/US Sales & Use Tax), tax technology, or ERP/tax engine support
• Hands-on experience with SAP and ONESOURCE
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Excel
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to indirect tax processes across multiple regions (EMEA, Americas, APAC)
• Experience working with cross-functional teams including Tax, IT, Finance, and Shared Services
• Familiarity with tax engine logic, VAT/GST rules, and digital reporting requirements
• Experience with data tools such as Power BI, Alteryx, or SQL
