Indirect Supply Chain Specialist

Responsibilities

• Lead regional strategy for indirect procurement, overseeing non-production goods and services including MRO, IT, and equipment
• Develop the North American indirect supply base through sourcing, onboarding, and price negotiation
• Execute sourcing strategic initiatives for PACK/CELL/Cathode production lines in alignment with regional and HQ teams
• Optimize supply chain layout and conduct cost benchmarks between North America, Europe, and China
• Monitor supplier project timelines and delivery status to ensure on-time arrival of production equipment
• Conduct regular Supplier Business Reviews and manage strategic supplier relationships
• Manage purchasing contracts, order processing, and supplier performance reviews
• Implement best practices for indirect sourcing and build up the SAP system for North America

Requirements

• More than 3 years of work experience
• Bachelor’s degree in automotive, mechanical, electronics, or chemical engineering
• Broad purchasing experience in automotive, energy storage, or manufacturing industries
• Proficiency with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle
• Knowledge of North American and Chinese indirect supply bases
• Experience with global sourcing, trade regulations, and import/export logistics
• Knowledge of US local tax regulations and laws
• Excellent spoken and written English

Preferred Qualifications

• Mandarin or Chinese working experience
