Indirect Purchasing & Ops Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Manage all indirect purchasing activities including consumables, office supplies, and shop supplies
• Obtain quotes, evaluate vendors, and issue purchase orders
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and contractors
• Coordinate facility-related services and operational support vendors
• Monitor inventory levels of consumables and frequently used indirect materials
• Track purchase orders, invoices, and receipts in partnership with Finance
• Support office administration and employee onboarding
• Identify opportunities to improve purchasing efficiency and negotiate cost savings

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 3+ years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or operations coordination
• Experience managing vendors and coordinating service providers
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks like squatting, reaching, and climbing
• Strong organizational and time management skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing, engineering, aerospace, or energy sectors
• Experience using ERP or inventory management systems
• Knowledge of purchase order management and invoice reconciliation
• Experience negotiating pricing and service agreements
• Experience supporting continuous improvement initiatives
