Indirect Procurement Buyer

Responsibilities

• Manage supplier relationships and source vendors for all indirect procurement needs
• Execute purchasing activities including RFPs, RFQs, and RFIs
• Negotiate pricing and review service contracts to achieve cost targets
• Create and issue purchase orders (POs) and track orders through completion
• Ensure timely invoice payments and manage the end-to-end purchasing process
• Develop and execute purchasing strategies for assigned commodities
• Create monthly purchase history reports and presentations for management approval
• Support internal teams with procurement needs and maintain 5S3R standards at the worksite

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field
• 2 to 4+ years of experience in a related procurement or purchasing role
• Proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Office suite
• Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work onsite and willingness to travel 10-15% (domestic or international)

• Previous experience managing formal contracts
