Indirect Category Supplier Manager

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end supplier relationship management for assigned indirect categories, including performance management and compliance.
• Act as the regional category lead, partnering with cross-functional customers to align demand and sourcing strategies.
• Lead commercial supplier qualification, including selection, onboarding, and development.
• Translate market intelligence and pricing trends into actionable insights and regional cost models.
• Lead RFx and sourcing events through award and transition.
• Define and implement contract strategies, including negotiating terms, renewals, and extensions.
• Establish data-driven views of supplier performance and lead governance cadences such as QBRs.
• Deliver measurable cost savings and cost avoidance by incorporating total cost considerations into negotiations.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, supplier management, or procurement.
• Experience negotiating and redlining contracts, such as service agreements, SOWs, and software licensing.
• Strong problem-solving, project management, and customer communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with a high degree of autonomy.
• Analytical approach with strong attention to detail and the ability to use data to drive decisions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Experience leading RFx processes and negotiations across indirect spend categories in North America (e.g., IT, facilities, or professional services).
• Interest in using AI-enabled tools to improve procurement efficiency and decision-making.
