Indirect Category Manager - Procurement

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute category strategies for IT, Professional Services, Supply Chain, Marketing, and CapEx to optimize cost, quality, and risk
• Lead sourcing events including RFIs, RFPs, e-auctions, and competitive bids
• Negotiate commercial terms, SLAs, and various contracts such as MSAs, SOWs, and NDAs
• Manage day-to-day supplier performance and conduct regular business reviews to drive continuous improvement
• Achieve annual savings and value targets while tracking and reporting key performance indicators (KPIs)
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies, contracts, and third-party risk requirements
• Partner with Finance, Legal, IT, and Operations to align procurement strategies with business needs

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Procurement, Supply Chain Management, or Engineering, OR 7-10 years of relevant work experience
• Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement or sourcing
• Proven experience managing Indirect categories and supplier negotiations
• Experience leading RFIs and RFPs
• Strong contracting and negotiating skills
• Proficiency with MSFT Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, OneNote, Outlook)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with indirect procurement within a manufacturing environment
• Experience leading e-auctions for freight and material handling equipment (MHE)
• Proficiency using SAGE or SAP
