Indirect Buyer Team Leader

Responsibilities

• Oversee indirect procurement categories, ensuring timely execution of purchasing processes aligned with company policies and risk mitigation strategies
• Partner with internal teams such as Marketing, Sales, HR, and Communications to provide procurement guidance and strategic support
• Coordinate supplier evaluations and monitor performance to ensure delivery quality and implement improvement actions
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of indirect buyers across Mexico and Central America, driving engagement and performance against KPIs
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, drive automation, and enhance procurement systems and workflows
• Monitor market trends and analyze procurement indicators to provide insights for better decision-making

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
• 3–5 years of experience in indirect procurement roles
• Experience working within consumer goods environments
• Proficiency with procurement tools including SAP (purchasing module) and Ariba
• Advanced English proficiency
• Strong leadership, negotiation, and analytical thinking skills
