Indirect Buyer

Responsibilities

• Manage procurement operations for indirect materials and services within a defined geographical scope
• Prepare and launch Requests for Quotation (RFQ) and manage the vendor selection process
• Negotiate contracts and prepare business cases following the Delegation of Authority (DOA) approval flow
• Support the deployment of commodity strategies and the implementation of new buying channels
• Coordinate with Project teams, Commodity Managers, and tactical buyers on high-value requirements
• Manage vendor onboarding and maintain supplier panel relationships and performance
• Generate innovative ideas to increase process efficiency and achieve cost reductions

Requirements

• Degree level qualification
• Proven knowledge of indirect procurement (goods and services)
• Experience in a relevant procurement or purchasing position
• Proficiency with ERP systems; knowledge of SAP and SAP Ariba is a significant advantage
• Fluency in English
• Strong negotiation, relationship management, and analytical skills
• Ability to work autonomously in a multicultural and multidisciplinary environment
